Clomicalm (Clomipramine Hydrochloride) is indicated for use together with behavioral training to treat dogs affected by separation anxiety disorder. This medicine`s main mechanism of action involves inhibiting the reuptake of neurotransmitters (such as serotonin) in the brain, and in addition to this, it has anxiolytic properties and anticholinergic effects. It may also help to make it easier for the dog to learn new types of behavior, which makes it useful for treating separation anxiety symptoms such as defecation and urination problems.
Clomicalm Dosage
Owners will need to carefully follow the instructions given by the prescribing vet. Dog owners are usually told the exact amount of medicine required, as well as when to administer it.
