It is also used to increase appetite and consequently weight for patients suffering from AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). How to use Endace
Endace 40 (Megestrol Acetate IP) is available in tablet form and should only be administered orally. As your physician is prescribing a dose for you, they will provide you with instructions on how to use the medicine. Do not commence using this medicine without prior consent from your physician. Some patients experience nausea or stomach upsets when taking tablets without food and may use food with this medicine. It is important to take water with each dose for prevention of nausea and such effects. Swallow the tablets whole without splitting, chewing, crushing or dissolving. This affects the rate of absorption for the tablets and affects its effectiveness.
