Naratrex Dosage


Take Naratrex (Naratriptan) as prescribed by your physician. Do not self-medicate, as this may result in serious side effects as prescription varies individually. Naratrex is taken orally with a full glass of water.

It is used once a person has a migraine. One tablet is enough to provide relief. Do not take another tablet until four hours has passed. Do not take more than 2 tablets within 24 hours as an overdosage could lead to severe reactions.

Naratrex Side Effects


The following are possible side effects of Naratrex (Naratriptan). Inform your physician if they become persistent or severe

  • Changes in vision
  • Unexplained sensation, tingling, warmth or cold.
  • Feeling tired, dizzy or weak
  • Stomach upset

Contact your physician immediately if you experience any of the following;

  • Painful and/or tightness in the chest or throat
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Strained breathing
  • Reddening of the skin and/or itchiness.
  • Swollen limbs, tongue, throat or face.
  • Severe stomach pain.

Naratrex Precautions


Any history of hypertension, angina (reoccurring pains in the chest), heart attack, diabetes, high levels of cholesterol, obesity, coronary artery disease, menopause, blood vessel related diseases, kidney or liver must be reported to your physician before starting treatment.

Inform your physician of any forthcoming surgery (including dental work) as it may cause complications.
