How to use Resteclin
Resteclin (Tetracycline) is an antibiotic, eliminates bacteria that cause infections, including lyme disease, pneumonia, acne, venereal (sexually transmitted) disease, bladder infections, and the infection that causes ulcers (Helicobacter pylori). Antibiotics will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.
Resteclin Dosage
Resteclin (Tetracycline) 250mg comes in a capsules form to be taken by mouth. Doses should be taken as far apart as possible throughout the day. For example, if your physician tells you to take it four times a day, take a dose every 6 hours. Resteclin should be taken on an empty stomach, 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Drink a full glass of water with each dose.
Resteclin Side Effects
Side effects from Resteclin (Tetracycline) are not common, but they can occur. Tell your physician if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away: upset stomach, diarrhea, itching of the rectum or vagina, sore mouth, yellowing of the skin or eyes. If you experience skin rash when taking this medicine call your physician immediately.
Resteclin Precautions
Drink a full glass of water with each dose of Resteclin (Tetracycline). Take it on an empty stomach, 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals or snacks. Do not take with food, especially dairy products such as milk and cheese. Take it with crackers or a snack (no dairy products) only if you experience an upset stomach.
