About Satrogyl: Satrogyl (Satranidazole) is an anti-protozoan (anti-infectives) medication that is used in the treatment and prevention of protozoan infections. It is grouped along the ritroimidazole drugs and acts as an anti-amoebic, antiprotozoal, and anti-bacterial medication.The drug is administered orally along with a glass of water. It is effective in the treatment of illnesses such as dysentery caused by amoebiasis, anaerobic infections, liver abscesses, periodontitis, intestinal amoebiasis, hepatic amoebiasis trichomoniasis, and giardiasis. Each tablet of Satrogyl contains 300 milligrams of the active ingredient in the drug; Satranidazole.
